Anni Movsisyan | Artist & Composer

Anni Movsisyan (she/they) is a London-based artist whose practice has taken shape in many forms, from live art performances and interactive installations to illustration and textiles. From their perspective as a member of the Armenian-Iranian diaspora, they are interested in ways of reimagining the world beyond the colonial matrix of power that dominates us.

Anni is also a multi-instrumentalist musician and composer who writes and plays in a range of genres and methods, particularly orchestral, Jazz and various folk traditions, including West Asian, North African and Eastern European music. She also enjoys arranging video game music, having arranged for the London Video Game Orchestra and the Videri String Quartet.
